FC RosengÄrd strengthens the squad with Danish Cecilie Larsen from FC NordsjÊlland. The 25-year-old right winger joins the team immediately and has signed a contract that runs until June 30, 2028.
Cecilie Larsen comes to Malmö with a clear picture of both the club and the football she wants to play.
â I know FC RosengĂ„rd well from before, itâs a very strong club in women's football. A club with great results historically and great ambitions for the future, which does everything to achieve its goals and constantly wants to continue developing. I obviously know several of the Danish players who have previously been in FC RosengĂ„rd and who today play on big stages. It feels like a very good step for me to come to FC RosengĂ„rd and as an environment where I get good opportunities to continue developing, says Cecilie Larsen.
She is looking forward to becoming part of the team and believes that FC RosengÄrd's way of playing suits her well.
â Iâm joining a very good team. A team that wants to play football, which suits my style of play very well. I don't know anyone on the team personally from before, but I have played several matches against Julie and Pobi in the Danish league, says Cecilie, who herself has over 150 league matches under her belt.
She describes herself as a player who combines game understanding with speed and offensive qualities.
- My biggest strengths are that Iâm tactically smart, fast and have a good drive with the ball. Iâm dangerous in my direct duels, I look for goal and I have a very good shot.
Caroline Seger, football director at FC RosengÄrd, agrees:
- Cecilie is physically strong, strong offensively with a really good attack. It will be exciting to see her in OBOS Damallsvenskan.
The ambitions of the new club are high - both in the short and long term.
â My ambition is to help FC RosengĂ„rd return to international play and contribute to ensuring that we get as good a position as possible before Christmas, says Cecilie in conclusion.
Cecilie Larsen joins FC RosengÄrd immediately and is ready to play for the upcoming round of OBOS Damallsvenskan.
