FC RosengÄrd is strengthening with Danish centre-back Julie Mathiasen (born 2004). She most recently came from AGF à rhus in the Danish A-league and also has experience from the Danish youth national teams.
â I chose RosengĂ„rd because itâs a club with proud traditions and a club that has developed women's football for many years. The club has great ambitions both for the team and for each player, which appealed to me a lot, she says about why she chose FC RosengĂ„rd, and continues:
â RosengĂ„rd has won many great titles and is a club that has developed many talented players. The team consists of players with many different nationalities, which I find exciting and look forward to being a part of.
Julie is a very ambitious player who is prepared to put in the work required at the highest level. She is a physical defender who is strong in the duel game and strong in set pieces. She is also calm with the ball and has a great eye for the game.
â I want to contribute with my strengths and also hope to develop my leadership, be a match-winner and contribute to the team's success, says Julie about her immediate future plans.
Julie will play in jersey 25. The contract is valid until December 2028.
