When Malmö Pride takes place on July 4th, FC Rosengård will be there. Players, employees, supporters, members and partners are welcome to participate. For the club, participation is about something bigger than a single day. It is about who we are.
Football is at its strongest when it brings people together. No matter who you are, where you come from or who you love, you should feel welcome in our community.
That is why FC Rosengård is participating in Malmö Pride 2026.
– Football has a unique ability to unite people across all borders. As a club, we want to contribute to a society where everyone feels welcome, respected and included. For us, it is an obvious part of who we are, says Linda Magnertoft, CEO of FC Rosengård Elitfotboll AB.
FC Rosengård is more than an elite women's football team. We are a club for everyone that brings together a large number of children and young people, families, supporters and partners. This means a responsibility to stand up for the values that make sport strong – respect, community and everyone's equal value.
Participation in Malmö Pride has already been a natural part of the work the club carries out year-round to create a safe and inclusive environment, both on and off the pitch. As a partner of World Pride 2021, the team played in a specially designed third kit to highlight the slogan #YouAreIncluded. The Pride flag around the neck has long been a natural part of our match shirts and something that is strongly associated with FC Rosengård.
In this year's Pride parade, FC Rosengård welcomes players, leaders, members, supporters, partners and anyone who wants to walk with the club.
- We hope that many people want to follow us through Malmö. The more we are, the more clearly we show that football is for everyone, says Linda Magnertoft.
Anyone who wants to can also get help getting ready for the parade.
- From 11 a.m. until the train departs at 12:30, anyone who wants to walk on the train with us can get face painting with the Pride flag, body glitter and flags, announces Ella Ryan, who is in charge of FC Rosengård's Pride participation.
