FC Rosengård strengthens the squad with Simone Jackson. The American striker joins on loan until June 30, 2027.

– I knew of FC Rosengård because my Orlando Pride teammate and the G.O.A.T., Marta, shared stories with me about her days with the club. That made me even more excited to wear the badge. I’m grateful to be a part of FC Rosengård and its long-standing history of excellence, says Simone.

Jackson was born in 2003 and most recently comes from Orlando Pride in the NWSL. She has represented the USA in the youth national team from U15-U23.

– Simone Jackson is fast, a strong runner, she’s explosive - and technical. She is a proven scorer and is very strong in the box, says head of football Caroline Seger.

– When I’m dribbling with speed on the ball, I really come alive. I love taking players on 1v1. It’s like a chess match to me. I want the other team to be so worried about our attack that they don’t know how to start theirs. I enjoy bringing that energy and competitive spirit to the team, Simone comments herself.

Simone Jackson joins the team immediately and will play with number 80 on her back.

– Malmö is a beautiful city with the most welcoming people. Erling, who is a big part of Rosengård and its long-standing history, took the time to help me pick out the perfect yellow bike. Now I feel like I’m officially a part of the community. I’m looking forward to immersing myself even more in the culture here and growing with the club, Simone Jackson says and concludes:

– My goal is to give my absolute best to the team every day. Whatever role is needed, I’m happy to step in and contribute to raising the level. I’m really excited to see what we can accomplish together. Let’s get to work!
