Joel Kjetselberg is leaving his role as head coach of FC Rosengård. The club would like to extend a big thank you to Joel for his efforts – during the recent period and throughout the years at FC Rosengård.

Joel Kjetselberg returned to FC Rosengård ahead of this year's season on a one-year contract and was given an important role in the first phase of the club's long-term work to re-establish FC Rosengård at the absolute top.

During the year, Joel has been involved in establishing new working methods and laying a solid foundation in the player group and sporting activities. He is now leaving his role as head coach as the club moves on to the next phase of development.

But Joel's importance to FC Rosengård goes back considerably further than this season.

As head coach, he was very much involved in the historic golden season of 2024. FC Rosengård then won 25 of 26 matches in Damallsvenskan, took 75 points and secured the club's 14th Swedish Championship gold. In total, there have been over 150 competitive matches in FC Rosengård's management team, ten of which as head coach in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

– We really want to take this opportunity to thank Joel for everything he has done for FC Rosengård. His contributions to the club have been invaluable and he is forever written in the history books – not least through the historic golden season in 2024, which will forever be a highlight in the club's history. We wish him all the best in what lies ahead, says Bex Smith, CEO of Crux Football and board member of FC Rosengård Elitfotboll AB.

FC Rosengård thanks Joel for his professionalism, commitment and work for the club – and wishes him the best of luck in the future.

Thank you for everything, Joel!
